EnterScape hires engineers for Purdue Research Park office, launches reporting service

Original Press Release Published April 4, 2012

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – EnterScape™, an industrial monitoring company based in the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana, has hired two engineers to support its expanding customer base and launched a monthly reporting service that provides recommendations for energy conservation.

Mike Van Vertloo, senior software engineer, will provide support for current clients and coordinate the rollout of future software platforms. Tracy Lozano, senior systems engineer, will coordinate technology development and the new Virtual Energy Engineer™ service.

The Virtual Energy Engineer service creates reports based on EnterScape’s evaluation of clients’ utility consumption. The reports can be customized for single facilities or aggregated for corporate review. The reports identify anomalies in utility usage and provide recommendations for conserving utilities and reducing utility costs.

Hershel “Ed” Fancher, president of EnterScape, said the company has added several key clients during the last year.

“The growth over the past year and planned future growth dictated that we had to expand our staff and capabilities,” he said.

Prior to joining EnterScape, Van Vertloo spent 11 years working in software development for Beckman Coulter Inc., a global manufacturer of advanced analysis equipment and supplier for the life sciences industry. Prior to joining EnterScape, Lozano worked 12 years for an Indiana-based medical device design and manufacturing firm.

“Given the technical nature of our business, we are always seeking to recruit skilled individuals who strive to develop the best solutions for our clients,” Fancher said. “Mike and Tracy are great additions to the EnterScape team.”

EnterScape provides enterprise monitoring services to a number of companies including Samtec Inc., YUM! Brands, Summit Realty Group and Great Escape Theatres.
