Anne Ragains

With a diverse background in commercial real estate, banking, and other customer-service industries, Anne Ragains brings solid business experience and a history of success to EnterScape™. In 1980 Anne began Ragains Realty. What started out as a side venture eventually grew to be a lucrative full-time job. In 1990, Anne turned her focus to purchasing and revitalizing another company, Telemessaging, Inc. This company started out with one location in New Albany, IN, and under Anne’s management, the company expanded to include operations in Indianapolis, IN and Elizabethtown, KY.

In 1997, Anne started another venture, bringing first- run movies to smaller market areas. Financing the new venture with revenue generated from Telemessaging Inc. and real estate, Great Escape Theatres and Aliance Entertainment became an immediate success. The company currently operates 307 screens at 26 sites in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia. As one of the fastest growing motion picture exhibitors in the country, Great Escape has focused on the mid-sized markets with populations from 100,000 to 400,000.

In addition to her real estate development and theater ventures, Anne became involved as a director and founder of Hometown National Bank in New Albany, Indiana. In 2003, Hometown National was acquired by First Harrison Bank.
